MassBio taps life science execs to lead new forums

The Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, MassBio, has named 51 people to its new advisory groups, formed to support the organization’s forums, panels and networking sessions.
According to MassBio, the initiative has already resulted in the Adventures in Biotech program, a six-part series of discussions with industry leaders on building a biotech company in the current financial and regulatory environment.

The mentors advised Mr. Tabatadze to alter his public presentation to include information on the competitive landscape in his field, the “flow chart” of steps he would follow in developing his business and the amount of money he wants, according to mentor Dalia Cohen, founder and president of Winchester-based consulting firm ALN Associates.
“I believe that he is already much better prepared,” she said.
